I was wondering if Sandy Schreier had any clothes designed by Russian born Valentina in her collection. Valentina came to the US after the Russian Revolution and was most active I believe in the late 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and maybe 60’s. Clients included Lynn Fontaine, Greta Garbo, Grace Kelly, and Katherine Hepburn among others. She was based in NYC and was married to entrepreneur George Schlee. Please share this with Sandy Schreier. George Schlee was my wife’s Great Uncle and we have some of Valentina’s dresses.
